Love the look of this item, light weight, and was initially, a great fit. After, having for kettle for 7 mo, the inside started rusting (about an 1 inch at the seam). Very disappointed at the positive reviews which sold me on this product.

Quality materials. Looks beautiful and matches my stainless steel appliances and black and white kitchen. The whistling function works well and is loud enough to hear in other rooms, so you always know when your water is ready.

I am really enjoying this tea kettle. It is everything a tea kettle should be.

It looks as pictured but the reason for the four stars is that it’s very light. The base is not thick at all. It will boil water but I don’t think it will last more than a year.
