It works fine as a dry popper, and fits in our small microwave. The lid is lightweight flexible plastic, but the base is a sturdy polymer that is almost ceramic.

This popcorn bowl gets extremely hot. Make sure you use oven gloves.

I jnow this product is good whwn you receive the bowl and the tops which I did not receive both in my order. Just opened the box Christmas day. Embarrassing to give a incomplete gift to someone.

Terrible product. Follow the directions to a T and all it ever does is burn
