It works fine as a dry popper, and fits in our small microwave. The lid is lightweight flexible plastic, but the base is a sturdy polymer that is almost ceramic.

This popcorn bowl gets extremely hot. Make sure you use oven gloves.

I love this popper! Perfect for a small bowl or single serve size. Popcorn comes out light and fluffy.

If I could I would give this zero stars. I was so excited to try this but every time I’ve used it, following the instructions, not even half of the kernels pop. Brand new bag of popcorn and it’s a brand that pops perfectly in my air popper. Waste of money and cabinet space.
