When I was growing up in the 1960's there was a brand of toy kitchen appliances in almost the exact same color as this hot dog toaster which I had. The toy appliances were better than this one. First it's made of cheap plastic; if you drop it, it's gone. It took 3 times to toast the hot dog on the highest setting. The buns did not toast at all, the edges got charred. We lightly buttered the buns and the butter melted off and out the bottom of the toaster all over the counter. A true piece of junk.
