Seriously. Unless you just was a lovely yellow toaster, dont waste your money. There is nothing special about it.

Just ok. In principle, it works, but not so easy to clean and bread needs to fit exactly or insides slide down. Not as easy to pull basket out.

Now this is just fun, you do have to follow directions and watch the thickness of the sandwich. It can get a little dark, but once you get the trick of it, its fun, and the sandwiches tastes good.

I bought 2 of these for gifts. I like the fact that you don’t have to close the top and secure the handle like the sandwich grill I have. I have been very careful with mine for years, but I know they break easy. I like the toaster style loading with this one. I do wonder and worry tho about the cheese melting to the bottom since they are standing on end, but since they are gifts I haven’t seen them in action. Hopefully they will be fun for my kids and grandchildren.

It looks nice but when you try to make the grilled cheese sandwich the bread gets burnt and when you turn the heat down the cheese won’t melt.

Cute, but. Cooks uneven. Not at all like a grilled cheese, but more like cheese between toasted bread. An acquired taste.
