I bought it because the photos showed that the surface had ridges on them, which would make for an interesting look. The ridges appear in the photos because of lighting and surroundings, I think. Instead, when I received it, the surface was smooth! I kept it because it's fine for the purpose and it's too much back and forth to continue towards exchange or refund. It works fine so far.

This teapot is the perfect size. The wood handle is well made and ergonomically correct. The whistle is soft and not startling. I purchase the grey and it goes well with stainless steel appliance. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

I love making tea with water heated in a kettle. Its part of the ritual that a microwave just doesn't do. It's the perfect size and I really like the wooden handle.

Love the green color. Gotta be honest - I just use this for decoration and maybe some lcinnamon water every now and then so I can’t comment on its functionality. I will second a previous comment that the wood handle is more orange-y than what is pictured but it still works in my kitchen. And I have a glass top stove so I’m not concerned about the burning issues reported.
