This is a beautiful addition to a colorful kitchen. I kind of freaked out the first time I used it. I baked a casserole uncovered. Once out of the oven, I put the lid on to keep the food warm and the dish had darkened. There were two different shades of yellow. Thankfully the color cooled to the right shade. What a relief!

It is lovely..my mistake, it is heavy for me.

Add a little olive oil to bottom before you heat dish and you have a golden brown , fall off the bone meal. Remember it will hold the heat much longer than metal pans and cook accordingly. In this pan tough meat cooks till the meat becomes very tender and juicy.

Too small and difficult to use due to the small top opening.
