They are heavy so they are thicker which is good! At first glance the detail in the design was pleasant as I had hoped for, but not as vibrant as the sellers photos. They are smaller than I expected, smaller than the set I was replacing. My biggest issue is that they scratch so easily. They are new and look old already in 2 weeks of use. Disappointing, especially for the price. I purchased 16 place setting and now regret it.

These dishes are beautiful and good solid quality. The colors are exactly as pictured. They match perfectly with the amber colored glasses I purchased.

We really like the look of these plates. The lines in the dinnerware are more of a pattern than ridges that you can feel. They are a good weight and fine in the dishwasher. Another reviewer said they showed scratches very quickly. We’ve been using them for a week and we do see a scratch or 2 from heavy cuts but in general we’ll just try to be a bit more gentle. They are very light, and the food covers the scratches anyway! Mugs are smaller than we would prefer but it’s fine because we do like the mugs to match the set.

I returned as the colors weren’t exact when I got them. Plus the inside of the soup bowl didn’t match the plate and salad bowl.
