I chose the Oxford Blue Willow because of its beauty and history of the design. Being this set is porcelain and not earthenware which is made by Churchill I was thinking its lighter in weight and easier to handle for my wife. There are some imperfections, but its not really the real thing so i was to be expected. Still she loves it!

Attempting to replace my beautiful Johnson brothers porcelain set, that got lost in a move. This set was not inexpensive. It says porcelain on description. I do not believe it is. It feels like stoneware. When it was received, all 4 salad/sandwich plates were heavily damaged. Deep scratches on blue banding. All 4 dinner plates heavily damaged with deep scratches. Which can make them unsafe to use as the scratches go to the body of the plate. There was clay like matter through out. Like little stones. I think this may have caused the deep scratches. The colours are nice. The dishes are heavy. Also a sign they are not porcelain. The plates if they were usable have a bowed effect. Making the eating area small. I've reached out to Wayfair.ca and they immediately said, they'll send replacement pieces. While appreciated, it's such a waste. This is the third dish set I've had issues with. All other Wayfair.ca purchases have been quite good.

Mixes well with older pieces.

The dishes are BEAUTIFUL ❤️!!

It reminds me of dinner at grandmas.
