[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't look but could imagine that there would be no drain and water would just pool at the bottom. Who does this? Don't need a dish rack, i have cabinets and shelving. Would have been solid four stars otherwise. Takes a good design, adequate materials, multi-use devise and ends up making a product that doesn't do what it should have been designed to do. unbelievable. Bigger fold-away rack has drain spout, it worked ok. Regular aluminum one has "drain board" that looks functional. this one? notta.

The title says it all. It will only hold our lunch plates but not our dinner plates. How am I supposed to wash china? And the no drainage on the bottom is just silly. A few simple adjustments would have made it perfect.

Needs to be a líttle bigger and with a angle on the bottom so that water will drain off. The quality is there, it’s like the design team never does any dishes or they would see the results

This dish rack was everything I expected from an Oxo product as far as build quality goes - The parts are sturdy and move without issue. And so far, it is holding up quite well over a few months of use. You could argue that I should have known this before purchasing, and I won't fight you too hard on that point, but this dish rack has the strangest design choice - There is no draining function! Water simply pools on the bottom rack, leaving a grimy film that I have to wash frequently. The grooves on the bottom rack are also not tall enough to allow air under drying dishes, so bowls, pots, cups, etc. that I leave on the bottom rack never dry. Looking back at the listing I suppose I could have seen this coming, but, after many OXO purchases, I assumed this dish rack would match their usually stellar design choices. Mea culpa perhaps, but I leave this review as a warning to others - Know what you're getting into.
