Neon green color was true to website. It takes one AAA battery, which is easy to install in the back of it. The digital readout has large numerals, which is great for a near-sighted person like me. The magnet on back is so far holding steadily and it sticks well to my microwave. The alarm is a steady beeping sound and I could hear it from two rooms away, and even from near the top of my stairs. This is the second one I've bought. (The first one was five years ago.) And I would buy it again in the future.

it is a bother to keep tapping to get to the number you want, other than that it seems to be fairly reliable

It's perfect for us, easy to use, load alarm. BUT if you buy it, have super glue handy. The magnet only stayed on the timer for 2 hours. Reattached with super glue and works fine! Magnet is strong and attached to any metal surface.

Cute and easy to use. It's a plus that it has a magnet on its back to stick to the fridge.
