Expected a little better quality from Pfaltzgraff. While these are nice looking they are very thin, no weight to them like previous Pfaltzgraff flatware I've purchased.

The silverware is not the same size as the previous one I purchased

I have this set from 10 years ago and ordered it again recently. I agree with the previous poster that it’s really poor quality compared to the original. I assumed they were fake but it looks like they have just decided to cut quality. Very disappointing.

My husband inherited this set and design from his parents when he moved out over a decade ago. I was thrilled to find the same set again to replace missing pieces and fill out the set. Sadly, it's very clear the quality of the product has declined. The metal is not as sturdy or thick and the embossing isn't as deep. It also has "Made in China" on the back where the original set does not which makes me wonder if Pfaltzgraff started outsourcing and cutting costs on their products (which I suppose is the way of all manufacturing companies these days). If you're filling out an old set, don't expect it to be up to the same standard.
