I use these for all of my cooking. They are great for handling hot jars when I make pickles.

This is a very thick glove with good thermal control, yet it does not fully protect against the heat. I can remove items from the grill and transport them short distances, but any prolonged time, the heat does get through. I am also disappointed that it only came with one glove(?)!
