I got this shelf for my husband and I, for our work space. We sell custom fishing lures on FB (yates baits). We need shelves to store all of our paints, blanks, and plastics. This heavy duty shelving is perfect for that.

The shelf I ordered was supposed to be 72”, but it is 70.75”, 1.25” smaller than it should be. The wall it went on is 80.5”. It’s not a huge difference in size, but know the shelf maybe longer or shorter than the size you order. Thankfully I didn’t have a wall I was trying to fit it snugly into so it’s fine for me. I was originally going to use this as a counter, but I didn’t measure the depth the shelf would stick out, which unfortunately 1’ is too deep & that was my mistake so I ended up putting about 6.5’ from the ground. Zero complaints about the depth. I got it to hold my bread maker, aerogardens, rice cooker, & food processor because I could use all of them on it as a counter. That was an awesome feature to adding a stainless wall shelf as a counter, but it didn’t work because of my error. I spent more time getting the protective film off that it took me to hang it. The directions I didn’t follow. I put the middle bracket up first. Then I attached the end brackets loosely, & I used the middle bracket to hold the shelf as I leveled it marked the top hole of each end bracket & the bottom hole. As I had it up I also marked the three holes on the back of the shelf. I pulled it down, drilled my pilot for the top hole, then used a level to mark a line across & up to form a + on where to drill my pilot hole for the bottom bracket. I attached the brackets to the wall & put the shelf back up to make sure I properly marked the back holes, one was not properly marked. I drilled my pilot holes, put the shelf up, attached it then attached it to the two side brackets. Its level & works great. There are some blemishes in the stainless & it marks with touch. It’s not one of those spot free stainless types.
