Works well. It does require cleaning every few months with vinegar and water. Makes hot coffee. Fairly nice design

Replaced a similar style coffee maker for an elderly relative. Description said it has auto-off feature, but it does not . I was hoping to add an extra layer of safety for the senior loved one, so somewhat disappointed. Stayed on for hours with very little liquid in it. It eventually started to boil dry, so manually turned it off and gave up on waiting for “auto-off” feature. If you want a basic coffee maker, it’s fine. If you are buying it for a forgetful person, get a different model.
