Pretty disappointed, especially considering the price. I waited for this to go on sale since it seemed a little pricey but really liked the color so decided to go ahead and purchase. There are visible cracks where the stand attaches to the base. There are two seams in the base that has discolorations that appear to be visible glue. Too soon to know if there will be structural problems after several uses.

Platter was broken off the stand when arrived

A Perfect bridal shower gift. It brings to mind the sweet warm memories of the bakeries from my childhood. The excellent packaging left no chance fo any damage.

Beautiful cake stand with one serious imperfection on base. Not jadeite but it states that in description.
