These are the best large salad plates. We use them for dinner plates. We added to our set because we love them so much! Red Vanilla is the best white dinnerware. It's smooth on the bottom and no rough like some white dinnerware.

A sturdy, updated classic plate that is great for portion control

Not the flat base vertical lip that I wanted (or was really shown in photos - maybe Wayfair can upload better photos to show that the base slopes up from the center). Also they aren't bright white, they aren't even off-white. I would call them almond. They work and the thought of repacking them to return isn't appealing so I'll keep them. Definitely don't buy if you are looking for bright white plates with a completely flat base. Those are in so many great restaurants now but like finding a unicorn online.
