• CHEMICAL FREE: Rather than using cookware that could contain PFAS, a known toxic chemical, try our all-natural clay solution. The glass frit lining in the bottom also makes it simple to clean afterwards. Our clay line is also European certified for safe use including US/CA PROP 65 regulations.
• CRUST DEVELOPMENT: The steam retention capability of clay bakers promotes a crispier crust. As the bread bakes, the moisture released from the dough condenses on the lid of the baker and then re-moisturizes the bread, allowing the crust to develop more effectively. The lid is not meant to be airtight to allow steam to release.
• OVEN & MICROWAVE SAFE: This baker is safe to use in both the oven and microwave up to 500 °F.
• CARE: While soaking your lid before use is optional, we recommend it to prevent cracking and to enhance steam circulation and heat retention. Place your roaster in the oven before setting the temperature to allow it to gradually heat up. Not meant for stovetop or grill use. After cooking, gently hand wash your pot rather than risking damage that could occur in the dishwasher.
