The finish on the knife handles was not the same quality as the finish on the forks and spoons. The raised bumps around the bottom of the handles of the knives was smoother and not as defined as on the spoons and forks. Also the pebbled finish on the knife handles was smoother than the finish on the spoons and forks. We returned the flatware because the inconsistent finish on the knives.

These are beautiful and a sturdy weight.

I purchased an 8 piece setting of this pattern approximately 5 years ago. I decided I wanted more because this is a stunning (IMHO) set of flatwear. The new order isn't exactly the same but no one will notice including my hubby and I had him do a side by side comparison! They no longer hammer the spoon eating area which again - not noticable other than to me. Yes this is a very expensive set of flatware but it is beautiful and it goes from casual to formal with ease. I'm extremely happy I bit the bullet and purchased more sets. LOVE this pattern!

I Love Love Love this flatware! it is elegant to go with my good china - but I like to use it everyday and enjoy it. I would buy this again in a minute - I have serving for 16! Great Purchase!
