Have only used once so far, but did a double batch, and the machine worked well. No overheating, good proportion of popped kernels, and relatively quiet operation. I am very happy with the product. The only downside is that the slats for air flow could allow for shell fragments to fall in if seeking to re-pop the unopened kernels from the first batch. But, this is very minor.

This is a good air popper. Very satisfied with the product. Some reviews mention the lid being unattached, actually this is good because it's so much easier to clean. It doesn't affect the intention which is to stay in place and protect from very little unpopped kernels that can fly out. the machine works just as it should. I really liked when the kernals were all popped it shut off when it was getting too hot. the one thing I noticed is that the lid slides off too easily. if you bump the machine the whole lid comes off and popcorn gets everywhere. not a fan of that. but all in all i like the popper. I use alot of Salton products and have no complaints. Recommend for sure.

Got this as a gift. - wish I could return it. Used fresh non treated kernels and it blew them all over the kitchen. I had more unpopped kernels than I had popped ones. Would not waste my money on this.
