Spode Christmas Tree 5 Piece Place Setting, Service for 1

These finished a set for my Nephew and his wife. They received a place setting each Christmas for the first 12 years of their marriage. They use them every year.

Good buy

This was sent as a gift to my son who could not travel home for Christmas due to virus concerns. He was so grateful to receive it- reminded him of our Spode Christmas tree pattern at home.

I was surprised to see that Spode was making its products in China. Although the product quality seemed intact, I was dismayed not to see England stamped on the plate, a minor issue for these times I suppose, but Spode, England is a staple in my mind toward respecting the brand. Spode "Made in China" doesn't work well in remembering Christmas.

I like Wayfair because I can find what I want at a good price. I can usually find what I am looking for on sale or discounted.. I know from past experiences that the quality will be good. I also know if there is any damage in shipping Wayfair will take care of the problem.

I started this collection for my daughters and daughter n law so that when they host a Christmas dinner they will be ready. Each year I try to add to their collection either by serving pieces or another place setting. Wayfair always provides a fair price, and they arrive in great condition.
