It was a bit larger than I expected. More of a cookie jar size. I purchased it to put in my son's room because he is a Type 1 diabetic and I wanted to have fast acting sugar sources in his room that could be stored in a sealed jar that wouldn't cause an ant problem. It does not have a seal on the lid, which bummed me out but was not promised. It will more than likely go in the kitchen somewhere, now.
