I use this plastic film on my kitchens porcelain countertops. It serves its purpose, though it does bubble underneath. However, I doubt I could find a better alternative, and Id rather have my countertops protected than perfectly smooth.

Easy to put on the counter top. I do not like that no matter what we use to wash it with and how much we rinse it the markes from the soft cloth remains looking as sundge marks.
