Have worked out great for what I am using them for. I am not using them as canisters. The large one is where I keep my cat's dry food. Treats are in another one. Catnip in the third and the small one has anti-inflammatories for my retired service animal. They look more attractive than random containers. They tops seal with a rubber gasket and keeps everything fresh and safe. Very happy with this purchase.
