Did not work. Set temp. for 180 for chicken. Timer went off within 50 minutes. New chickens were not done. Checked them with another reader. Mine read 132 for the temp. If you buy this item make sure you have another reader at home to double check meat.

I roasted a chicken yesterday and set the temperature and time the timer went off as planned and the roaster was great. I use ti watch my son use this type of thermometer and always wondered how it would be, I'm sorry I waited so long to buy my own it works great !
