I needed a long table runner to cover the length of a fireplace hearth as I was tired of overlapping several pieces. This is perfect! It is very pretty, is subdued but adds a beautiful splash of color with just a little sparkle. I should have bought it sooner! The quality is nice; it's well made. I haven't washed or cleaned its I can't speak to the washability. I would probably spot clean if it was needed.
