I was surprised by how large these food heating lamps are—they’re much bigger than I expected! The construction feels very heavy-duty and sturdy, not flimsy at all. Another nice bonus is that they come with the bulbs included, so they’re ready to use right out of the box. I purchased them for entertaining, and I can already tell they’ll come in handy when hosting parties and family gatherings. They do a great job of keeping food warm without constantly having to reheat dishes. Overall, a solid product that feels built to last.

The heating element definitely works. I wish the balance of the lamps would be more stable. It feels like it will tip over if both lamps are on the same side. Maybe if it was weighted more? Ours also came damaged. The switch for one of the lamps is broken off. I will be returning and/or replacing this product. Will update with my recommendations once we get a replacement.

Can't wait to give this heat lamp a try for our next big family gathering. It seems to start heating right away. The lights are much larger than I envisioned and it worries me a little for stability. You have to make sure both lights aren't bent over to the same direction too low or the whole thing topples over. High and slightly angled down works ok and the weight of the base can handle it.
