this wooden pizza lifter has a nick in the end. I think it happened during shipping anyway I just noticed it now because this is the first time I’m using it. I was promptly sent a new one thank you.

it is fairly rough. i have never owned a pizza peel before but i guess you treat it like a wooden cutting board and oil it?? anyway i will probably sand and oil it, it really doesn't look like it will last a very long time. description says it will not warp or crack but i will be very surprised if it does not crack. plan on using it as a bread peel and it looks like it will do the job.

The handle is much shorter, than what the picture shows.

Nice substanial board that is eady to handle and holes a jumbo pizza. Clean up easy too! Also sunstantial enough to use as a display Antipasta as we entertain Love it! Definately 5Stars
