I love this pan for making a week's worth of rice or beans. It's also very easy to clean, and that's always a plus.

Heavy solid pot. Cleans nicely in the dishwasher. The bottom of the pot does get heat stains and so far I haven’t found a cleaning method to remove. The handle does not get scolding hot when using.

I never thought professional cookware makes a big difference. The conduction of heat surrounding the whole pan. If you accidentally cook to fast, just take it off heat and put the cover on, the stuck on refried beans started to loosen. You only need medium-low temps with this pan. Worth every penny!
