The baking dishes are heavy and good sized for individual servings. Just what I wanted for making shepherds pie, and servings of left overs for the freezer for quick meals. Good quality dishes. I am very pleased with them. They can be baked and served at the table since the white ceramic goes with any pattern of table dishes.

It's perfect for no muss, no fuss entertaining whether it's casual or more formal. Tried it with shepherd's pie and it was great for a generous portion. Oven to table ..... love it!
