15 oz. Villeroy & Boch Mariefleur Sucrier avec couvercle

This is a lovely item with muted colors (which looks exactly as the online image). It was larger than I envisioned, but that is my fault. I believe it would be more attractive if it were smaller. It is a good value. I docked it a star because of the manner in which it was packed by the manufacturer the top was inverted into the base (as is typically done) and then was wrapped in paper. This was placed into a V B box that was notably larger than the item without including any protective bubble wrap, etc inside the V B box. I heard a distinct rattle before I opened the box and expected it to be broken based upon the sound, but luckily it was not. (Wayfair had placed bubble wrap around the V B box, which prevented disaster, so kudos to Wayfair.)

The item purchased was well-packaged and secure.
