Villeroy & Boch New Wave 20,25 pi Bol à soupe oz

Just love it! Great looking, delicate but strong, good size for many things - soup, chili, stews, casserole - and has a rim that does not get too hot as some bowls do after you add hot soup to them. Ended up trying this as a place to put gravy drippings (had not quite made the gravy yet) overnight to remove the "really bad fats that form a dense block on top of fat" which the next day I removed with a spoon and made into a beef gravy. Easy to place in the dishwasher and easy to handle by the rim - and unique and beautiful and the "form" snuggles up near the saute pan where I did the frying of my meat (sirloin burger) - so no drips to clean off the stove! I hate to clean the stove top because a person has to wait until it cools - and I prefer to eat and - that is it - great world and my space is still clean.

These bowls complete my set. I excited to use for a dinner party next weekend.

I wish V&B would make this bowl in the stone color. The bowl is great for soup or salad.
