Works well, but you have to screw it into a sturdy platform and when you get the apples pressed a little bit, it takes a lot of pressure to push the arm around to get them all pressed

This is a nice idea but impossible to assemble to fully use. The directions are difficult to follow and the screws are the wrong size. The parts that we could assemble were very cumbersome. There are 45 screws on the the main part. We are going to keep trying to finish assembly but need to purchase other items to do so.

When Put together the fruit press is sturdy and very cute with the colors of red! The mesh bags holes are pretty large so it does depend on what kind of fruit or quality you would be trying to achieve. I do wish that it came with a couple different size mesh bag holes. It did take about a half an hour to assemble so that was a small pain. I haven’t used it yet but it will probably do the job nicely

The instructions are messed up, hard to read, and do not give details... But my husband was able to figure it out and get it assembled. It's wood and metal, seems heavy-duty and solid. We are excited to use it this fall when our apples are ready to harvest. It looks similar to the one from my childhood.

My family has been making wine for years. We've always just made wine from juice that we buy from wineries, but we've always been curious about making it from our own fruit. The fruit isn't ready yet so we haven't had a chance to use this, but we did put it together and test it out. I want to give it a higher rating, but it's not the highest quality product -- the slats that make up the majority of the press are really flimsy and crack with the slightest pressure from screwing them in. They should at least give you extras if they aren't going to use the best quality wood. 3-4 of them are now cracked and I'll have to glue them back together. The slats are also different thicknesses, so for some of them the screw pokes out a little bit on the other side for the thinner ones. I also wish the wood was already treated. In the directions, it says to make sure all of the slights go in a particular direction, with a beveled edge on one side and a smooth edge on the other, but it's not at all clear what this actually means -- both sides feel exactly the same. It definitely takes a bit to put together all of the slats, equaling 48 different screws. So just initially it doesn't feel like the highest-quality product. But we'll see how it holds up when we actually use it to press some fruit.
