I love the design on this set of dishes. It is classy yet unique. The dishes are good quality. I have washed them in the dishwasher with no issues so far. The bowls are deep enough for soup or cereal. I got them in time for Thanksgiving dinner and received compliments on them.

Love the design! Quality not great. Many imperfections in finish on all plates.

I am currently using these dishes as my every day dishes but they could be dressed up for fancier occasions. I too have noticed an occasional pinhead sized black dot on these dishes but it is so minor it doesn't matter honestly. (We have food in them so I don't notice) I have also noticed the label on some of the dishes is coming off in the dishwasher. Neither of these things has had any impact on how we use these dishes as a whole. These dishes that do not show scratch marks from silverware (which I love) and they have not chipped yet from going in the dishwasher every day for a month now. Work well in the microwave too. They do not have coffee mugs with them but we found out we were able to use some of our old Pfaltzgraff mugs from our previous dish sets. These match up close enough if we really would ever need them to be all together in a place setting at the table. But really how often does anyone do that? Bottom line these are beautiful slightly imperfect durable simplistic dishes. I plan to keep using these for a long time!
