Great knife ! Once you get used to cook with a chinese chef knife their is no going back. Old school Hong Kong cook recommended it to me. After i learned how to hold it the right way i realized its superiority. Great for scooping ingredients and crushing garlic ect...Hefty but Good. Great Solingen Steel. You need the right honing steel or your Friodur Blade is gonna be harder than your average honing steel.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) it is too heavy for daily cooking purpose especially for lady. also the bottom is too flat. not allow to rock. have to focus the beginning and the end part of knife to make it not too flat when sharpening. but it really take time
