Online picture clearly shows darker browns. First order stated delivered and never showed up, second order is all light tints of cherry type light reds/browns, no dark browns. Great looking piece but NOT accurate to what is depicted online. Henckels, you can do better than this!!! especially for the price$$$ . Sending back.... Lost confidence. See attached pictures

Solid, heavy, and very cool looking. It's a real space saver if you need to put it under cabinets. Just wish it came in different finishes.

Different design then your typical block knife. Simply gorgeous. Love it. Looks modern and chic.

I like it but it came with a chip. It wasn't worth sending it back but I was disappointed that it was chipped.

Thiis is a much better design than the related easel-style rack, but it still takes a lot of space on a counter or island in a kitchen -- even a large one such as mine! It does hold the precious blades completely horizontal (saving the cutting edges) but for those of us with several large/long beloved knives in regular use, it really only allows to 5 places per side. I think it is a beautiful storage block aesthetically, but I will unfortunately be returning it! Trying to store items in front of the long side makes it hard to access the blades -- especially if you have a kitchen smaller than my large one! If one is especially right or left handed - the 2-sided slots make one inconvenient for those of use who are not ambidextrous... Pretty but not as useful as a wooden block with fully vertical slots for blades at the top
