This is a practical, but limited accessory for labeling your dry goods. I use mine on some of the flour containers and it allows the product to be labeled on the lid as opposed to the side. You have to remove it to reseal, but that is not an issue. You affix the label the same as you would on the side, so nothing special or extra to do. Just convenient if your product is stored low, making the side label hard to see or if using on counter and would rather look at the top as opposed to the side.
