This is excellent and nearly perfect for what I need it to do.
Before you read on, you can just stop right here if you are not expecting to use it like a woke.
Here's why this is now my workhorse in the kitchen.
1. in the new apartment, I no longer have a high powered gas stove, a traditional wok is not useless. This thing is almost as light as a hand hammered iron wok.
2. it's thin enough that heats up fast to stir fry
3. it does not retain heat nearly as much as my hexclad...which is key to woking.....heats up fast and cools down fast
4. it has more raised steel parts than hexclad, it provide better, faster heating, and frankly better flavor (yes, it will stick much more....but this is a wok, if you are sticking with a wok, you are probably not using it right)
5. it comes with a very nice lid with I use may be 20% of the time. It's not nothing :)
6. low cost
