The un-assembled fixture was well packaged. I appreciate receiving extra pieces, although it would be better if the instructions mentioned that extra pieces might be included (to avoid confusion with assembly). Assembly of the main fixture was straight forward, it's nice being able to select the overall height with the 12" and 6" rods. Assembly of the 8 individual light covers (with glass) was a bit tedious. Also, two of the 8 light receptacle holders were bent and had to be straightened by hand; one of them has a sizable dent however it's on the inward side and shouldn't be too visible. The item (once assembled) is relatively light weight which makes it easier to hang from the ceiling bracket. Again, the bracket kit includes more than enough hardware to install to be completed. Once hung, the 8 glass pendants can be adjusted fairly easy for correct alignment. Adjusting them however leaves finger and hand smudges. Perhaps suggest to wear rubber gloves during assembly or include a pair in the assembly kit. Once light bulbs are added, the fixture presents very simple and elegant, just like the pictures on the website. Overall, I'm very pleased with this item.
