This was frustrating to install. But it wasn't all the fault of the light. We had one of those light strips that are sort of standard in most homes. Whoever installed it when our house was built, just basically put a hole in the wall, and then added some other screws in 2 additional holes. You will see in the picture that there is a gap on the left side. You will also see the holes in the wall that I have to fill from the previous strip. My husband did construction when when he was younger, and he was not happy with the mess that was there. He had to do some alterations to the wall to put it up. So it took several days to install this. But, that being said. It is a very nice light. I love the size of it, and I love the shades. I only have 2 bulbs in it right now, and it provides a lot of light. It is going to light up the sky with all 5 bulbs in it. I do wish it was a little bit more stable. It is sort of heavy, and the only thing that is supposed to hold it to the wall is 2 screws, and 2 nuts. My husband ended up using longer screws and he added 3 more. We also had to keep taking the nuts off and readjusting the screws that hold the nuts. You can adjust those so that the light will sit flush with the wall. It took a few times. If you've never put in a new vanity light, I would recommend watching some youtube videos on how to do it. It should be fairly simple, unless the previous light was not installed correctly. But, I wanted to share that in case you run into a similar situation. I do love the color, and the metal is nice as well. I would recommend this light. Also, you can get this in different sizes. 3, 4, or 5 shades, so you can get what fits your needs.
