This medallion was simple to install. The color was exactly as shown on the website. I am glad I ordered. It added that extra touch I needed in the girls room!

This medallion was simple to install. The color was exactly as shown on the website. I am glad I ordered. It added that extra touch I needed in the girls room!

Please understand the first impression of the product was that it was flimsy. However, after using the product, I don't see any problem with its flexible nature. In fact, in one of my two installation, the flexible nature of the product worked especially well. The chandelier where this product was installed comes out of the ceiling of our circular turret which has a concave ceiling (not flat). Then we have the added challenge of having the chandelier hanging from a cable (where the other end is attached to an electric winch in the attic) so the chandelier moves up and down (for cleaning and changing bulbs). This ceiling medallion not only looks great but it also has the right amount of flex in the product for us because it is made of thin but durable plastic and not ridgid like solid plastic, wood, or metal) so the medallion does not damage the sheetrock above when being raised into place. It is parked 27 feet in the air and difficult to pilot into place so far away. :-) Again, the two medallions bought look great!
