I bought this fan because it's one of the few with a traditional design that also has a DC motor. Somehow, though, it still makes an AC-like hum! The pull chain for the light also makes an annoying ticking noise against the glass bowl. To add to all that, it was a PAIN to install. I've installed several Hampton Bay fans and they're so much easier. I couldn't believe how long it took me to get the wiring for the DC converter inside the canopy, let alone mount all the blades. Oh and then there's this beep every time you turn it on, which is completely unnecessary. I know when the fan is on – I just turned it on! Search elsewhere if you want a quiet DC fan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such an easy installation! The design is perfect, as it is noiseless, and creates the perfect breeze. The opportunity to switch blade sides is a fantastic feature, as the white provides additional brightness to the room, and the tan would add the perfect touch to a less formal location .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This ceiling fan is so so nice. it was very easy to assemble and install. The instructions were really clear. It's very quiet when it's on and going. I love all the speed settings and the LED bowl is awesome. I really like that it isn't too large which makes it perfect for a bedroom or smaller living room.
