It looks beautiful, it is real glass. However the light socket was seated crookedly in the lamp base. So, it makes the lamp shade and the whole lamp lean. I fixed it with an illusion trick by putting a shim under the side it leans towards. I didn’t feel like packing it up and shipping back so I made it work.

The stain glass “shade" is great…better than expected... but the rest of the lamp is kind of janky. Also, there is no rotary switch, as is advertised. Instead, there is a floor based “pedal” switch…which is not preferable. Hence, three stars.

Love,love! It's perfect in my office/TV room.

If you like strafoam this is for you. Look almost 15 minutes to unpack only to discover that the lamp had a floor switch (not the one near the top as shown in the pictures). Having to repack this to return it was beyond a nightmare. Before you buy, be sure that your space will work for either a floor or top turning switch.
