Very disappointed with instructions that came with these lights. The self adhesive tape on the back of the lights made it obvious HOW to install the lights but with no recommendations as to where to install them ( outside edge Backside of tv) . And then there are these large 4-5” gaps in the strip of the lights themselves. Why It seemed after positioning, removing and repositioning he light-strip it never delivered on a nice ambient glow. What I got was strip of very bright pinpoints of lights that distracted from TV viewing. On top of that, the only way to use a remote to control the lights is to program the strip from an app within my cell phone and use it as a remote. AND it required the password to my cable system. Why So no, I don’t recommend these lights. Geez, even individual lightbulbs can be purchased with their own remote cheaper than these lights.

Would not recommend these strip lights. 1) I ordered 2 sets. I received one set in an unmarked box, and received 2 additional sets in a box labeled as “Himalayan salt pouch”… Super weird. 2) 13 of the lights has already fallen off my TV less than 24 hours after they were applied. 13 is still hanging on to a different TV, and the final set hasn’t been put up. 3) There are weird sections of cable running throughout the strip of lights that makes it so there are big gaps of no lights multiple times throughout the strip. Where you see a loop in my pictures is actually just me trying to join together where the lights stop and then start again. There are 3 sections without lights on each strand. This means the actual strand is way shorter than expected. I could not cover my 60” TV with a single strand of these lights. 4) These makes a horrible high pitched noise when they are turned on. One of the strands the sound gets louder the dimmer the light is set, one of the strips the sound gets louder the brighter the light is set, and one of the strips only makes a sound when set to in between colors (but no sound when set directly on a primary color). It is loud enough that I can hear it while sitting a good 10 feet away from the lights on the back of my TV. It’s super obnoxious and I’ll be getting rid of all of them because of it. Super disappointed in these lights. They’re pretty enough, but all the issues make them unusable. Would not recommend.

This is awesome! Once I got the package I saw that an app was required and I was like...."oh no." But it was very very easy and it awesome because you can change the color and set a timer on the app. So no worries about turning it off manually

The item arrived early with the package intact. The idea that I wouldn’t need a actual remote to work this was great. The instructions are really simple and easy to understand. You scan the the code and follow the instructions. Just remember to do all of this before you place them on your TV, just in case you have to reboot it. There was a little glitch which was probably my fault‍♀️. Otherwise they work great. Thank you WBM SMART

This is a nice TV backlight, though I thought it was going to be enough lights to decorate my room, not just enough for the TV (said in the details that it was enough to decorate a room.) I was pretty disappointed by this but I replaced the lights I had on the back of my TV because these were better.
