Lightweight but sturdier than come others I’ve seen. The ends are plastic. I almost returned it, but they don’t look like it at all when hung on the wall—no one will know! Simple assembly. This is a great economy option.

Beautiful Color - Oiled Bronze. I deliberately ordered them longer than I needed in order to have more strength in the rod and reduce the potential for sag later. The directions for hanging were clear and the box included everything you needed to hang the rod except for the drill bit.

The rod and end caps seem to be made of thin plastic. I only kept it because its close to our ceiling and barely visible

This was the cheapest plastic, the end of the rod was bent and you couldn't even put the finial in which was 100% cheap plastic - like a dollar store toy. The other end of the rod wasn't bent and when you put the finial in, it just fell out - no quality hardware to screw it on - I can't believe wayfair would even sell this cheap china stuff!
