Color was more of a tan/beige than a french white.

Precisely what I was looking for to ceiling mount for grommet drapes to conceal a wall pantry shelving unit. Pewter finish holds up well to constant sliding of metal grommets & it is very sturdy. Note that I had looked Extensively for this perfect rod!

Due to the stay in place orders in this bizarre era of our nation’s history I really do not know much about the lovely curtain rod.My permanent residence is in another state. A fine friend secured a professional couple who are there keeping a watch until lockdown is over. They needed a blackout curtain so I ordered this lovely rod sight unseen. I discovered Wayfair in 2016 and trust that all products they sell are high quality and In extremely good taste. I AM sure that this product is perfect.
