A Foldable Indoor Jungle Gym for Kids The Chestnut is an 8-in-1 indoor jungle gym for kids that folds away when playtime is over. Kids climb the rock wall, ladder and rope ladder, cross the monkey bars, hang from the gymnastic rings, swing on two different swings and slide back down, all on one solid pine frame. With more than 2,000 reviews, it's one of the most-loved indoor climbers we make. Eight Activity Stations Rock climbing wall: Colorful holds for a steep climb. Ladder and rope ladder: One steady route up and one wobbly one. Monkey bars: Hand-over-hand practice for grip and strength. Gymnastic rings: Hanging and swinging for bigger kids. Disc swing and swing: Two ways to swing indoors. Slide: The reward at the top. Folds Away When You Need the Room Most indoor jungle gyms take over the room for good. The Chestnut folds for storage and moves easily, so it works in a small playroom, a basement or a living room you need back for guests. Two Sizes The Medium measures 70.3 x 48.7 x 46 inches and suits smaller rooms and younger toddlers. The Large measures 88.8 x 57.3 x 58.6 inches and gives growing kids more height and challenge. If your child is 5 or older, choose the Large. Montessori Play That Grows With Kids Developed with Montessori principles in mind, the Chestnut encourages independent exploration, self-confidence and creativity. It works as a first climbing gym for 2-year-olds and keeps challenging kids through age 8, with room for several children to play at once. Learn more in our Complete Guide to Jungle Gyms. Indoor Pine or Outdoor Cedar? This Chestnut is solid pine, made for playrooms and indoor spaces, so keep it out of prolonged sun and moisture. For backyard play, choose the indoor and outdoor Chestnut in treated cedar. Add the Large Chestnut Play Mat and the Chestnut Tent Cover to complete the set.
