I love this garden gnome named Mordecai, after the wise and godly uncle of Hadassah, the beautiful young Jewess who became Queen Esther, wife of ancient Persia's King Xerxes. I was elated to find this gnome among Wayfair's stock, because the fact that Mordecai is praying makes him a perfect fit for the garden area where I placed him, a spot I named Meditation Circle. ... My one disappointment, though, is that he is not that tall. It would have been nicer if he were about 18 to 20 inches in height.
