Amazing buy! This was fairly easy to put together. I cant wait to put bees in it! Im thinking about painting it white to keep the heat down in the hive during the summer.

I was very impressed with the quality of the hive; it is not assembled. I opted not to use the supplied nails, and used a framing nail gun. IMO, A pilot hole must be drilled before you use the nails because they might split the wood. This is certainly a project you will need time to complete, but the instructions are easy to follow and concise. My only criticism is the following, the process of putting wax on the frame leaves many places where the wax build up needs to be scraped down in order to fit the box together. This adds time to the build, but in the end the extra wax can be melted down and reapplied at the dovetail joints.
