I am a bit of a crazy plant lady. However, I did not have any hanging planters – until now. After several years of trying to get spider plants to grow (not just survive), I finally had one that started doing their lovely creeping with the potential of producing additional plants. So I started looking at hanging planters. This Joss & Main planter caught my eye. It is very aesthetically appealing and the planter is just under 6 inches tall. It states that it can hold up to 5 pounds, and it was the perfect size for my growing spider plant. The tie leather straps (while attractive) do make me a little nervous that the planter could come crashing down if the knots slip. I opted to hang it on the end of a heavy-duty established curtain rod instead of a dedicated plant hook. It does not have drainage holes (although that would be very messy I would think), so be sure to have some pebbles on hand if you are choosing this for a live plant. This ceramic off white with black speckled planter from Joss & Main is perfect to add a stylish, yet simple, touch to any room in your home.

Such a cute little hanging planter! Simple and sleek design. I do wish the ropes used to hang it were maybe a different, stronger material but it’s cute. There’s definitely a weight limit to what you could put in here. I think a nice, fake plant that drapes and flows over the side would be perfect!

This little hanging pot is perfect! I haven’t had a chance to hang it in my space yet but the pattern and quality is top quality. The color is warm and interesting yet stylish. Def will be buying another!

Exactly that, just what I needed. I put this in my new babies nursery which is a "jungle theme" And it is just a perfect addition. I cannot wait to out a plant in this pot. I love a hanging pot and this is one of my favorites

When I opened the box, I was very pleased with the aesthetic of this little ceramic flecked cream hanging planter with natural tan leather cord for hanging. However, there are some challenges that have led to my not being able to hang it. It is quite surprisingly heavy for its size, which means I need the right hardware. I had purchased a wooden L-shaped bracket to hang it from off a wall, but the planter, especially when I put a plant in it and start watering, will be just a little heavy for that set up. Second, the thin leather strip that holds it is a little concerning because I’m not sure it will hold the weight of the thing once I do hang it, and the strap is tied onto the planter in three places, which means one side is almost always slightly off, and it’s fiddly to get it to hang evenly. Lastly, it’s a little too deep for several of my plants’ interior liners, and I certainly would not want to plant directly in it because there’s no drainage hole, so I had to figure out how to outfit the bottom I cut a little plastic saucer to size to elevate the inner liner pot. So it’s lovely, but it’s not hanging up yet because it’s a bit of a project.
